Firefox Dark Themes: missing contrast in input fields
If you have chosen a dark theme in your Firefox, it also changes the background and text color of input fields under Linux. The problem can be easily solved with a config entry.
Upgrade OpenERP 7 -> Odoo 8 using OpenUpgrade
OpenUpgrade offers users of the Community Edition an upgrade path for OpenERP/Odoo. For simple installations, the update works relatively well - but for complex installations with their own modules, the upgrade effort can quickly become very high.

As it is not easy (or cheap) to update OpenERP, I've got an installation which stuck at Version 7.0 . But this does not mean that it has to run on an outdated server os.
